How I went from charging $1 per hour to $6000/month!
Discover how I transformed my pricing strategy and increased my income from $1 per hour to $6000 per month.
I charged $20 for my First Freelance Project and I worked 20+ hours for that. (actually, it was divided between me and my friend so $1/2 per hour)
I didn’t even know if we could charge more than that. I thought I was very expensive for charging $20 dollars for just one video.
Things changed fast!
A year later, I charge $5000+ for my services.
And, it didn’t happen on its own.
I studied courses and books worth $3000+ just to know the SECRETS behind charging more.
I’ve put down every bit of it in this newsletter so you don't have to do it.
I’m sure you’re gonna increase your prices by AT LEAST 50% after reading this.
Here are the Only 5 Methods you need right now to boost your earnings without feeling that you’re overpriced.
1. Stack
You won't pay $1000 for a hotel that provides a decent room.
But you'll surely pay the premium amount if they provide:
• Luxury room
• Swimming pool
• Private Chauffer with Mercedes
The exact concept follows here in the business world.
Even if you go and email 100,000 YouTubers saying “Hey, I edit videos and I’ll charge $5000+/month”
I doubt if anyone in their right brain would even reply to you.
When you say “I edit videos” you compare yourself to every video editor on the base level, even the ones who learned video editing a day ago.
No matter if you have experience of 1000 years, it's important to remember that there are countless others with similar skills.
Now imagine if you say: “hey, I see you’re a great real estate agent, if you give me a chance:
• I’ll get you listings worth $50,000 every month through video marketing
• I’ll decrease the rejection rate by 50% by adding a better sales process
• I’ll give you the best ideas and the best scripts for YouTube videos
• I’ll edit all the videos and make sure that we post them on the right time
• I’ll do all the keyword research so that it reaches your target audience
All of a sudden, your offer is not just a random “Hey, I edit videos” it’s I’ll help you in a way that no one will be able to.
Even if you charge $7000/month for that, they’ll happily pay it. (if you give the promised deliverable)
Find your target client and focus on the problems they’re facing, now solve their problems with your service and charge whatever you want for that.
The bitter the pain, the more you get paid.
2. AMG vs Candle
Let me present you with two offers.
Here's a candle for $1000
No matter what I say:
• Aromatic
• Good Wax
• Burns for longer
I'll not be able to sell this, cause it's just too "expensive"
What if... I offer you a Mercedes AMG for $10,000 right now.
Huh, why do I see you grabbing that credit card?
This is what you have to do as well.
Don't sell “Video Editing” or candle for $10,000 bucks
Sell "Dreams" or AMG for $100,000
Give them what they want for so cheap that they can't believe it.
Obviously, for that, you’ll need to have the skills as well and that is crucial.
I would go as far as to say work for free if you need the skills, say that hey I’m gonna only charge if I’m able to make you earn.
3. Positioning
I won't risk my life by going to a doctor who just became one.
But I'll surely pay an arm and a leg to visit one who has already positioned himself as the best one in the field.
People treat their businesses like a child, They won't risk it by hiring a newbie.
Are you seen as an expert in your field?
If not... How do you expect people on top of the game to lend you their TRUST?
Okay, I get it, but how do I get that trust, Sayujya?
Easy! By building your own personal brand.
Why are you reading my newsletter? Why are you even trusting me here?
Because I’ve a huge ass brand on Twitter and I’ve given you enough value so that you can trust me and you do.
Just like that, you also need a strong personal brand to show your expertise to your potential clients.
Show them that you have something special.
Your presence is enough to create a lasting impression in their minds that you are someone worth knowing.
It has happened a lot of times that people don’t ask me for my portfolio before we start to work together.
I’ve gathered each and everything I know about personal brand building, and put them down in my course.
That will be released in the second week of September, if you guys are excited about that, reply to this email by saying “I’m Excited”
4. Target Locked
You say you want high-paying clients to reach you and then you post:
"7 side hustles to make $1000/month"
C'mon mate... Think about it for once.
Would the client who's able to pay you $5000 be interested in the content you put out?
So what should I post??
Think about who's your target client.
Open your notes app and write about his problems.
Become obsessed with them and find out the ways to help them out with your content.
And this is what happens after that: You solve a problem in your content that they were struggling with. They start to follow you and share your content with their friends.
Now the people in their friend circle also start seeing your content and your content starts to spread around your target audience.
Do this religiously for a month and I guarantee you're gonna get 10+ leads just from doing this.
5. Tit for Tat
The best way to make money is to help someone else make money.
Find out what your client has that you don't It can be capital, authority, stories or skills.
Tell them that you'll help them to make x amount of money and you'll keep 10% of that.
Imagine if they’re a huge SaaS company. You don’t have the company, not the product, not the capital.
They do.
They don’t have your content creation and marketing skills. Once you start using them on your clients and get them the results.
Boom, you can make shit loads of money through that.
Imagine if it’s a SaaS product worth $100/month.
You’re able to sell 50 memberships in a month with YouTube content.
And you keep 10% of that.
1st month: $500/month
2nd month: $1000/month
3rd month: $1500/month
It’s that simple if you know how to market.
It’s so much easier to work with 3 high-paying clients rather than working with 20 low-paying clients.
The key is to inject the right painkillers and make them feel better. In short, they solve the problems they have in business.
And believe it or not, every business has this one problem, less sales!
Follow these tactics and see how they bring a difference to your business.
